Basics
Hi everyone! My name is Jillian Woodfine. I am from Clarenville, Newfoundland. I have been living in Fort McMurray since 2018, where I have worked as a full-time teacher, and as a substitute teacher. I have completed several temporary contracts just like this one, with the most recent being Grade 5 here at Walter and Gladys Hill Public School. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you all this year!
Education
In April of 2018, I graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Education degree. I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Special Education program, and hope to apply for a Master of Counselling in the near future!
Hobbies
I am a very active and outgoing person! Outside of school, I spend most of my time playing volleyball with local leagues in Fort McMurray. During the winter I enjoy skiing at Vista Ridge, and in the summer I spend most of my time camping and hiking. I also love playing piano and reading in my spare time.
