Ravens gather awards at Regional Science Fair

Each of the 6 students who represented WGH at the Regional Science Fair today should be proud to have had the opportunity!  The Ravens were able to bring back 9 awards for their planning, experimentation & data gathering, analysis & interpretation and communication of their experimental results.

We are very proud of their hard work, the guidance from their teachers and science coach, as well as the assistance and encouragement their parents gave them throughout their trials and preparation for Science Fair.  At WGH we follow the Smarter Science Framework and provide students with a number of opportunites to experiment so that they are developing the skills of inquiry, creativity, and innovation in a meaningful and engaging manner.

Congratulations to all of our students in grades 4-6 who created Science Experiments and investigated using the Scentific Method.  Everyone did very well at the School Science Fair this year.  Congratulations again to those who went to the Regional Science Fair and were able to be recognized further.  In the years to come we hope to see some of you at the Canada-Wide Science Fair!
