Hello! My name is Colleen Swain and I am so excited to be teaching grade two this year, here at Walter & Gladys Hill Public School. This is my fourth year at Walter & Gladys, and I am looking forward to sharing my love of learning with all of the amazing kiddos in my grade two class. 

After completing my Education degree at the University of Saskatchewan, I made the move up to Fort McMurray to pursue my teaching career. I have been a teacher with the public school district since  2007, and have spent most of my years teaching in early elementary, but I have also held positions at the Jr. high level.

When I am not teaching, you can usually find me in the stands at the ball diamond or football field. I also enjoy playing sports and camping with my family in the summer. 

I am so excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Walter and Gladys grade two team, and I look forward to getting to know you and your family throughout the school year.
