My name is Thomas Andrews, and I am the new Principal at Walter and Gladys Hill School.

I am one of the few to be fortunate enough to say that I was born and raised here in Fort McMurray. I've also spent my whole teaching career here in town, having both taught and been an administrator at Ecole Dickinsfield School and Ecole McTavish High School. I completed my Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Education degrees at the University of Alberta, and also completed my Masters in Education at Saint Francis Xavier University.

I spend a lot of my free time hanging out and travelling with my wife, our baby daugher, and our cat and dog. When time allows, you will find me playing sports, and especially giving back to the community through coaching youth sport.
