Hello!

My name is Liz Gillis and I am thrilled to be teaching the Grade 4/5 class at Walter and Gladys Hill this year! This is my sixth year teaching and second year as part of the WGH team.

I am originally from Newfoundland, and after high school, I made Fort McMurray my home. I received my B.Ed from Keyano College, and I am currently working towards my graduate certificate in Trauma-Sensitive Practices. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and volunteering in the community as a Girl Guide leader.

I am excited to be back at Walter and Gladys Hill and look forward to a fantastic year of learning!
